Thank you. To be honest with you, it’s really difficult for me to offer the rare shells as a preorder for a couple reasons. First of all, the ordering process makes it difficult for me to do a preorder for these rarer colors of shell. Secondly, I just don’t have the allocation to keep up with the demand. I apologize for this and will try to accommodate you and everyone else who is interested in the future.

I’m sorry, we won’t have these at LSBH anytime soon. If we do every get the opportunity to offer these on a preorder, we will definitely will. It’s just very difficult for me to offer these on preorder based on the situation with the availability of these rarer shades of shell.

Congrats on the quick sell out! I was trying to resist picking these up and now I don’t have to worry. Would you ever be willing to produce this sort of shoe on a last besides the Barrie? I think either the Hampton or the Leydon would suit this shoe well, and accommodate some of us who can’t wear a D width in the Barrie last.

Thank you Jacob. If any other color of shell, I could probably take care of your request. However, with the availability of these rarer colors of shell, I cannot commit to creating new models. It’s hard to explain but it’s just logistically difficult for me.

Alden takes anywhere from 4-9 months for batches of shoes to be produced. At this moment, I do not have these particular shoes on order. Unfortunately we do not accept preorders on shoes made in whiskey, ravello, or cigar.
