Destined to become a new classic. Unlined shell with the Horween stamp visible is the pure cordovan experience. I plan to add these to my unlined LHS and will hope to see more unlined models some day (hint, hint, Tom).

    Hello Tom.
Awaiting the opening of your SoCal Store. Is the Unlined Flex PTB available in a 9E? I wear a 9e in the AE Leeds (PTB). Also have a pair of BB in a cap toe 9.5 D. I have been considering purchasing a pair of Alden Chuka Boots until seeing this shoe. What would you recommend?

  14. Tom Said,

    January 11, 2010 @ 6:45 pm

    Bob,

Sorry, we only have D widths in stock. If you would like to special order an E, we should be placing another order very soon so you could add your size to that order.

Hope to see you in Beverly Hills!

    Aloha,

    Tom

Wow! What a great idea! If they were the “wholecut” derby, I’d be sorely tempted.

Any chance of these being offered in Black Shell Cordovan? I’m in the Navy and it would probably be the last uniform shoe I would ever have to buy.

  23. Tom Said,

    February 13, 2010 @ 8:08 pm

    Chris,

To be honest, I really don’t think these would make good uniform dress shoes for you. The unlined nature makes them wrinkle much more and look more casual. I would stick to something like our other various plain toe models such as our recent Hampton plain toe.

    Aloha,

    Tom
