Can crepe soles be replaced by a normal cobbler like a normal leather sole that is welted onto a shoe? I would hate to wear these babies down, and not know what to do with them

I bought these from LSH and they are great! Plantation sole is great for walking in all weather — I hope you still have them in 10 to 15 years when mine finally wear out!

Had mine for a couple of weeks now. Amazing how quickly they break in and start looking even more beautiful. I like them so much I have been wearing them to work (with a coat and tie).
