Nick,
We wanted a sleaker look and since many people would wear these boots with a suit, the hooks would get caught in their trousers.
It’s a little harder to get on, but we’re happy with the dressier look.

Yes, we do have them on order but they’re not due for quite some time. A new brown chromexcel version is due in-store very soon though.
