Alden Shoes – Vintage “Big Punch” Oxford
Our newest Leather Soul Exclusive Alden shoe is the Vintage “Big Punch” Oxford.
After collaborating with Alden during a trunk show last year, we dug a sample out from the vault and decided to put a twist on a vintage shoe that no one has seen in ages.
Extra large circular “punches” are the focal point of this model. They give this vintage model an unusual look that we haven’t seen before. A very special calfskin was chosen for this model, “chataigne smooth calf,” which is a burnished tan/chestnut/cognac mix. Originally on the old Hampton Last, we decided to use the Plaza Last to give this style a modern update.
