I am interested in the Plaza split toe in shell cordovan and would appreciate your thoughts on size. I see a 9D is available. I have on a pair of all weather split toe calfskin made on the barrie last in 9.5D. They are about one size too long (should be 9) and require heavy socks for fit. The width is good. Do you think the Plaza in 9D would fit me. If so I am interested in ordering them. Thank you.

Thank you for the comment. 9D in this shoe will probably fit you snugly. The Plaza does not fit as large as the Barrie, but this shoe seems to fit larger than other Plaza shoes. Plus shell cordovan shoes fit larger than calfskin shoes such as your all weather walkers. If you are planning on wearing thin dress socks, I think the 9D will work.

Will you get any more 9’s in cordovan or calf? What shade is alpine brown and what is price of calf? I am a consistent 9c in Aberdeen last. What would fit me best in Plaza, cordovan or calf. Thanks.

We will be getting more of the Alpine calf version. You’ll find a picture further back on our website on the post entitled “American Dover.” If you are a 9C on the Aberdeen, I’d suggest a 9B on the Plaza. With that being said, we have no B widths on order at this time.
