We’ve waited 9 months for these and they’re finally here! Inspired by Alden’s popular #965 model, these handsewn split toe bluchers are made on the Barrie Last, with a plantation crepe sole, in Cigar Shell Cordovan. A natural edgetrim gives it an added touch.
A perfect shoe for those rainy or snowy days that will be creeping up on us soon.
Available in 6-12D.

I might be interested in purchasing this shoe, but I’m unclear about the sole. Is this a combination of leather and crepe rubber? How thick is the crepe rubber portion? What is the heel composition?
None of the above questions matter if you don’t have size 8.5d or if you won’t sell via mail order.

Thanks for the comment. The sole is Alden’s standard leather tip-crepe sole/heel combination that is found on many of their standard models.

Thank you for the comment. Yes, it is possible to order shoes to be sent to Italy. Postage will be $55.00 via International Express.
As far as the cigar NST, we only have “D” widths in stock. We do have 10D currently.

I would say so, but some feet it may be too casual with the plantation crepe sole to be worn with slacks and a sportcoat.

Hello. I wear a a size 14D. I was wondering if I could get (either in stock or custom order) any or all of the following Alden models: 1576, 1577, 954, 953, 955, 925, 962, 963, 965 ?
