Alden Shoes - Plain Toe, Single Sole

plain.jpg

One shoe that every Alden fan should already own is the Plain Toe Blucher on the Barrie Last, #990. It’s a gunboat of a shoe, with a heavy double sole and reverse welt. Dressy enough for a suit? Maybe. Better matched however, with heavy khakis and an oxford cloth button down shirt.

We created this new plain toe to be dressy and sleek enough to pair it with your work suit. Based on the #968, this plain toe is on the Leydon last, with a regular close heel welt, 6 eyelets, and single leather sole. Available in both color #8 and black shell cordovan.

(Leydon Last, $560.00)

    Great idea.

    Do you have Color #8 in a 10 1/2 D?

Also, anything close to this look in Black Calf?

    Thanks, Mark

    Thanks Tom,

I’m going to go to a place here in LA that carries Aldens to get a feel for the sizing. What you’ve done to tweak the design of this shoe is genius. It would be great if it can work out.

    Best,
    Andy
